Every time I sit down to write one of these things, I always think to myself, "Nothing has happened". Naturally, I must have nothing to write about.

It kind of makes me think about conciseness in writing. That is: lots of words don't make a piece of writing better. I suppose if I think about writing as a creative pursuit, the whole point is to use words. But if I'm reading technical documentation, I definitely don't want to read.

Wow, what a tangent.

Anyhow, back to my original point: I've got nothing. Or, at least, that's what I think every single week that I've written this blog. But it is true this time! Here's why:

• the last photo I took was of a scene at Mister Jiu's, which I had already mentioned in my previous post
• I'm still playing the same video game that I was playing last week. ~55 hours of playtime and counting.
• I declined an invitation to hang out with a friend.
• my butt / lower back hurts so I'm not going anywhere.
• coronavirus pandemic is still a thing, so I'm not going anywhere.
• my knees are bothering me, so I'm not going anywhere.
• US borders are closed, so I'm not going anywhere.

I realized as I was writing this list, that I inadvertently described my entire week. One might say that I'm not going anywhere.
