I suppose writing about nothing is still something.

This is one of those rare weeks (or at least I'd like to think it is "rare"), where I was so engrossed with work, that everything else fell by the wayside.
Well, that's not entirely true - since, if my Grammarly checks are anything to go by, I do like to exaggerate and have a penchant for hyperbole. That being said, I'm thinking about the happenings of the last week, and I'm having a hard time coming up with anything out of the ordinary.
Last week, I was playing Okami... which had been in my proverbial "pile of shame", for what seems like a literal decade - even after all the HD re-re-re-re-releases. I finally got around to finishing it, and I'm baffled as to why I didn't play this years ago. What's funny is that I even I have the Wii version, complete with the IGN logo on it:
It started making me think about the other games in my backlog:
- I know that I want to play these games
- I just literally never start them or get to them
In the meantime, I've played garbage like Ghost Recon Wildlands, and then wonder why I took so long to start Okami (which is, in my opinion, a superior game). So I started looking at the shelf, and purposely picked a game I knew had to be good and had put off.
And that's how I started playing Judgment.
I haven't completed in yet, but I'm on the last chapter, and I have to say: Oh. My. God. This is such a good game. The premise didn't appeal to me at first (murder mystery story), and I felt that Kimura Takuya's performance in the first few hours was just kind of, "Meh". I've logged about 20 hours now, and it's fair to say that I'm lovin' it now.
Some repair people are coming to fix the window sill in my apartment. Not that there's anything wrong that I can see, but they claim there is some wood rot or something wrong with the window sill, so they're coming it.
And basically, I had to turn my space upside down and inside out, because I have my retro game setups in front of the windows.

After:
Considering how much stuff was packed in those cabinets, and the insane weights of CRT monitors, it was no small task affording this clearance.
That being said, when I was done, I liked how clean and empty the space felt. I've always had kind of a love/hate relationship with my gaming setups, considering how little space I have in my current situation.
Meh. Something to think about and mull over.
That's it. Yes, that's all. I've been giving some serious consideration to making my blog posts once every two weeks or three weeks, due to the lack of anything meaningful happening. It used to be that I was so obsessed with my schedule and goals, but that's taken a back seat, as of late.
Anyway, toodles, future me.
